Many questions get asked by visitors to church, newcomers to town, and friends and neighbors of our members.
Here’s a list of questions that may help you get to know the Free State Church better.
Free State Church offers childcare for all children ages 3 months through 5th grade. We also have a middle school ministry (grades 6-8). Our middle schoolers will sit in service through the communion, and then be dismissed to their classroom downstairs for their own lesson. We will alter off between having lessons for boys-only or girls-only, and sometimes also have both boys and girls together.
Just give us a call! Take a look at our
contact page for methods to communicate with us...
There are many different"flavors" of christianity around today, some of which may have loose relations with the bible. Since we are keenly interested in each person having their own faith & convictions based on the bible, we ask that you spend some one-on-one time with another member of the congregation to make sure you have seen and read some of the bible and so you can get any questions answered before placing membership.
Currently due to the growth of the congregation, we may sometimes overflow the parking lot. If you visit and cannot find a spot next to the church building, please park across the street and come on in... It'll be worth the short walk!
Currently we have regular meeting times on Sunday mornings at 10:30. Services last for about an hour to an hour and a half. There are rare occasions when we will not meet at the regular times and places because we will meet with other congregations. To know about these times, please sign up on the
contact list.
ABSOLUTELY! There are many
volunteer opportunities in the community, and also in the congregation. Feel free to
contact us stating your willingness to volunteer, and someone will get back to you right away...
Contact us in any way that's convenient, and we would love to have you participate in our ministries.
